Giveaway, again: Let's Pretend This Never Happened

So. Way back in (ahem) June, I held this little giveaway for a copy of The Bloggess’s (a.k.a. Jenny Lawson's) book, Let's Pretend This Never Happened. I accidentally purchased two copies of the book online, and was determined to make my ineptitude your gain.

Lots of you very kindly offered up your own examples of your own ineptitude to make me feel better. Which was awesome. And many of you also became Facebook fans of this blog, which was equally awesome. And then I picked two winners, and I sent one of them the book and … the other lucky winner never did get round to sending me her mailing address.

(I know!)

According to my reckoning, the statutes of limitation have run out.

So: it's the gift that keeps on giving. Once again, if you'd like a chance to win a copy of Let's Pretend…, just leave a comment below telling me about the time you locked your keys (and the baby) in the car while it (the car, not the baby) was running, or — whoopsie — used rat poison instead of sweetener in your boss's coffee (bonus points if you caught that reference to one of the best movies ever and tell me which one it was).

If you are not yet for some bizarre reason a Facebook fan of this page, well then, become a Facebook fan (my pitiful numbers are just on the side of 300, and I'd really love to break that barrier) for a chance to enter.

Or, if November is just really tiring you out, man, you can just write the equivalent of "I want it" below. That, my friends, is plenty good enough. Just help me get this book off my desk.

(PS: The writing is going. And this is good. Keep you posted.)

(PPS: Did I mention  that Jenny Lawson herself has  provided a signed bookplate for this very lucky copy? With GLITTER FAIRY DUST. No shiz.)
